Welcome!

PLACINGS (Partnership for Launching Careers in Engineering and Sciences) is a partnership between Loughborough University, local companies and schools to provide leadership in public engagement and social interaction.

The project inspires people with the creativity of pioneering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) research, and attracts young minds – especially those belonging to underrepresented groups – to fulfilling careers in Engineering and Physical Sciences.

The project is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and is led by Dr Emiliano Renzi.
